Egg Rolls, Fried Rice

("Big Girls Don't Cry." My worst song yet!)

Egg rolls, fried rice
Egg rolls, fried rice

Egg rolls, fried ri-yi-yice
(Egg fried rice)
Egg rolls, fried rice
(Who had the egg fried rice?)

My girl said let's ee-ee-eat
(Chi-inese)
I said, my treat
(I'm so darn sweet)

(Silly girl)
Shame on you said mama-san
(Silly girl)
You didn't eat all your wonton
(Silly girl)
Then she said, I'll pack your sides
Egg rolls, fried rice

Egg rolls, fried ri-yi-yice
(Egg fried rice)
Egg rolls, fried rice
(Who had the egg fried rice?)

(Trumpet solo)

Lady, hold the MSG
(Allergies)
Low salt for me
(No MSG)

(Spilled the soy)
Told my girl we had to take out
(Spilled the soy)
Thought that she might wanna make out
(Spilled the soy)
While we watch "Shanghai Surprise"
Egg rolls, fried rice

Egg rolls, fried ri-yi-yice
(Egg fried rice)
Who had fried rice?
(I won't be askin' twice)

Egg rolls, fried rice
Egg rolls, fried rice...

(Come back soon for bad vocal!)

Stubbleyou, I compared you to Allan Sherman in another post, and I wanted to let you know about another parody you should hear if you never did. It was a parody of "Hello Muddah..." called "Hello Melvin" by Sandra Gould, one of the actresses who played Gladys Kravitz on "Bewitched."

I've always come up with alternative lyrics to songs over the years also, but I don't think any are as complete or as funny as yours. Occasionally, I come up with a line or a few that come close.

I assume that you are familiar with Tom Lehrer's works, which somehow worked their way into our schools, such as "New Math", and "The Elements" in Chemistry class.

Have you ever heard of Mike Ridley? He is a parodist/vocalist who works my neck of the woods.

How do I know that was you? Hahahahaha. I know of Lehrer, but I don't really know his songs. I'll check all those out. Why not show us some of your own stuff? "You're invisible now, you got no secrets...to conceal."

Thanks for the comment.
