I'm trying to think whether The Four Seasons recorded any other Gerry Goffin/Carole King songs besides "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow". The last time I heard that on the radio, it was on the station on 1660 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, when it first came on the air.

Unbeknownst to some, Gerry Goffin was mentoring Kelly Clarkson before American Idol, and he continues to be a force in the music business. This is a little known fact, as we are led to believe Carole King was the only talent in that duo. Perhaps a parody is due on the much maligned and forgotten "Gerry, Sonny, and Ike"?

Now that's worth thinking about...but off the top of my head, Frankie Valli included "Take Good Care Of My Baby" on the new "Romancing the Sixties" album. What a great song. I love Carole King.

"Gerry, Sonny, and Ike?" I think I'm only half with you on that...

Which half?

Rock'n'roll husbands Goffin, Bono, and Turner?

Abraham, Martin, and John?

Liston and Eisenhower?

Wish I could find a youtube video of Cher's eulogy of Sonny. It's probably much more believable than the depositions or news accounts, and was from the heart.

This bears watching in this context.
