"TWO PILLOWS WET ON THE CHAISE"

You see, this is why you get leather or vinyl sofas if you have teenagers! They may even be lonely and innocent, but they can still wake up "Huggin' My Pillow".

"Huggin' My Pillow" -- wasn't that by Paul Anka? (And so it looks like you finally got the CD, Mar!)

"Huggin' My Pillow" appeared on the "Rag Doll" LP and some later compilations. If you haven't heard it, it's very good traditional Seasons fare, written by Bob Gaudio and Bob Crewe. A new oldie for you! Someone else may have recorded it or another song by the same name, but the Four Seasons' version is the only one I know.

Yes, that is a new one on me -- I'll check it out. Thanks! (I was making a bad joke on "Havin' My Baby.")

Don't let it stop you from writing parodies of the more popular tracks or even tracks by other artists, but if you haven't heard the "deep tracks" of the Four Seasons, you are in for quite a few treats. For years, we've heard deep tracks of the Beatles and others on the radio. But even Joel Whitburn's publications don't show tracks of albums that did not chart, like "Chameleon" and "Hope+Glory". I don't know where to start with recommendations, but I'll recommend a few as I think of them.

Bwahaha - I love it. =)

Anon - never heard the phrase "deep tracks" before. Please recommend some! Where do I find them?

Karen - thanks! Come back soon, ya hear?

I think a DJ said this one years ago, so I'm not taking credit for it. It's not Four Seasons song, but it's along those same lines as yours. It's a parody of a Temptations song title.

"PAPA WAS A ROLLING STONE, MAMA WAS A SUPREME"

"Deep Tracks" is actually an XM Satellite Channel. "Deep Tracks" tends to favor "Classic Rock", so you probably won't hear any Four Seasons on it. I don't have satellite radio, as I didn't like it that well, but 60s on 6 on XM may play a few. Our local oldies station stopped playing a lot of early 60s, but they did used to play "Big Man In Town" every once and a while.

I'm sure you can find a lot of songs on the pay per track legitimate internet sites like iTunes and Napster. There are the Four Seasons Rarities Volume 1 and 2 CDs from 1990. The "Criminally Neglected..." CD has some of the same ones. The new compilation has some. One of my favorites is the "Working My Way Back To You" Album/CD studio album.

Here's a few to get started.

Can't Get Enough Of You Baby
(Yes, the ORIGINAL recording of the Smash Mouth cover, though Smash Mouth uses the garage band sound of earlier covers).

Raven
Electric Stories (Different-Fuzzed Metal!)
Marlena
Pity
No Surfin' Today (A Surfer-Tear Jerker-Two Genres In One)
Girl Come Running
And That Reminds Me
Patch Of Blue
Too Many Memories
The Girl I'll Never Know
The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore (THE ORIGINAL)
The Puppet Song
Lonesome Road (Wonder Who-a Gene Austin/Nat Shilkret familiar song from the 1920s)
